STABBING INCIDENT NOT AS REPORTED
INJURY WAS SELF-INFLICTED

On Friday, October 28, 2005 at about 12:25 PM Peoria Police officers responded to a reported stabbing at 11300 N. 82nd Lane in Peoria. On Monday, October 31, as a result of the investigation by Peoria Police Crimes Against Persons detectives, the alleged victim, Danielle Gills, 21 years old from Peoria, admitted the injury was self-inflicted.

The investigation will be submitted to the Peoria City Prosecutors office to be reviewed for possible charges of false reporting.
