“TIP- A - COP” EVENT TO BENEFIT SPECIAL OLYMPICS Date and Time Wednesday, November 1, 2006 5:00 to 8:00 PM Location Applebee’s 8001 W. Bell Road On Wednesday November 1st from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Peoria Police Department employees will be on hand to serve you at Applebee’s, 8001 W. Bell Road. The Police Department will assist in waiting tables for “tip” donations to Special Olympics. This Tip-A-Cop event is a fund raiser as part of the 2007 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. In 2006 the Peoria Police Department raised over $41,000.00 for Arizona Special Olympics and finished 5th out of the 72 law enforcement agencies in Arizona that participated in the 2006 event. We hope to make 2007 even a better year in support of these very special athletes. ### |
