Peoria Police looking for missing and endangered
child Victim: Zachary Scott, W/M, 5 years old Brown hair and eyes 3 feet tall, 45 pounds Mohawk style hair cut Suspect: Gary Lee Hatfield W/M 30 years old 5’11” 175 pounds Large tattoo on neck Possible driving a white 1988 Honda Prelude Biological father of Zachary On June 22 at about 8:30 PM suspect Gary Hatfield took the victim from his mother’s house at 7900 W. Thunderbird by threatening to kill the victim’s mother and grand mother with a shotgun. Peoria Police units located the suspect’s vehicle as it fled the scene and when emergency lights and siren were activated the vehicle fled and the pursuit was terminated do to safety concerns. The suspect is reported to be the biological father of Zachary; he has taken him before and has always returned him. On this occasion he threatened to harm Zachary. The current location of the suspect and Zachary is unknown but it is believed they are in the Sunnyslope area of Phoenix. If anyone has information regarding the location of Zachary or the suspect they are asked to call 911 immediately. ### |
