PEORIA POLICE LIEUTENANT RECEIVES AWARD Lieutenant Dee Dyson, a ten year veteran of the Peoria Police Department, was honored recently at the 2006 National Black Police Association Western Region Spring Training and Education Conference. The 1st Annual ABLE Law Enforcement Awards was held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday, April 28, 2006. During the ceremony, Dyson received the Community Service Award by the Arizona Black Law Enforcement Employees. This award spotlights Lt. Dyson’s leadership and dedication to the Peoria Police Department’s fundraising efforts for the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run campaign. ### |
