Recovery of Drugs, Paraphernalia and Counterfeit Bills
A months-long
investigation by the Peoria Police Department concluded this morning
with the execution of search warrants at two suspected drug houses,
located at 9200 and 9202 W. Mobile.
Once inside, officers found 18 adults and six children as young as 2

found the homes unsafe for occupancy and condemned several building
on the property. Officers also recovered dangerous drugs, marijuana
and more than $1,300 in counterfeit money.
At this time, at least eleven people have been arrested on charges
including possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Additional charges, including child neglect, are possible. All six
of the children found inside the homes are temporarily in the care
of CPS.
Officers from Peoria’s Criminal Investigation Bureau, City Code
Enforcement, the Secret Service, the Avondale and Goodyear Police
Departments and Child Protective Services assisted with this
