Dance to benefit Officer Bill Weigt being held Date/Time Saturday, April 29, 2006 6:30 to 10:00 PM Location Masonic Lodge 18810 N. 107th Avenue (north of Union Hills) On Saturday, April 29 from 6:30 to 10:00 PM there will be a benefit dance for Peoria Police Officer Bill Weigt who was paralyzed from the chest down after being shot by a homicide suspect on December 17, 2005. The dance, organized and hosted by a group of citizens from Peoria’s Ventana Lakes community, will have free food, a silent auction, door prizes and t-shirts and wrist bands benefiting Officer Weigt will be available for purchase. Tickets for the dance are $10.00 per person and can be purchased at the door. All the proceeds from this event are going to Officer Weigt’s account at the 100 Club. Officer Weigt and his wife Dolores plan on attending the event. ### |
