Peoria Police officer paralyzed in a December
shooting to be Grand Marshal of Peoria Pioneer Days Parade this
Saturday Where/When Downtown Peoria Osuna Park 8300 W. Washington Saturday, April 1, 2006 10:00 AM Peoria Police Officer Bill Weigt, who was paralyzed during a shooting involving a homicide suspect on December 17, 2005, will be the Grand Marshal of the 2006 Peoria Pioneer Days Parade. Bill will be joined by other members of his family as they lead the parade into downtown Peoria as part of Peoria’s Pioneer Days Celebration. The parade which starts at 8400 W.
