CRIME SCENE TECHNICIAN RETIRES AFTER 18 YEARS Lou Roane, a Crime Scene Technician for the Peoria Police Department, will retire on March 1 after 18 years of service to the Peoria Police Department and the citizens of Peoria. He also served as one of the first Police Assistants in the agency, and worked in Property and Evidence until his promotion to Crime Scene Technician in 1993. Lou was named the Department’s Civilian Employee of the Year in 1988. Lou spent 20 years with the US Air Force retiring as a Master Sergeant prior to joining the Peoria Police Department. Lou plans on traveling with his “best friend” who also happens to be his wife Janice upon his retirement. |
