Racquetball Courts

The floors are scheduled to be resurfaced beginning the week of November 23, 2008. One room will remain open while the other is closed. Click here for the schedule.

*Ages 17 and under must wear protective eye wear and wrist straps; also must have signed documents by legal parent/guardian prior to entering racquetball courts.

The Recreation Center has two racquetball courts which can also be converted to play Wallyball. Courts can be reserved for racquetball when not scheduled for classes or leagues. Outlets are provided for personal ipod hookups.

Racquetball Courts can be reserved by Pass Holders only and must be reserved online through RecConnect up to one week in advance.

Please bring your own racquetball supplies or purchase a 3-pack of balls for $4 and rent a racquet for $1 at the front desk.

Wallyball can be reserved in one of the racquetball courts on Saturdays from 5:00pm - 10:00pm only. The Wallyball nets will only be setup during these times. Please reserve a court by calling the front desk at 623-773-8600. Courts can be reserved up to one week in advance.

• Athletic, non-marking shoes only

• Shirts must be worn at all times and clothes must adhere to the facility's dress code.

• Protective eye wear and wrist straps are recommended for all patrons and are mandatory for those ages 17 and under.

• Children 12 and younger may use the court with a parent/guardian present.

• Patrons age 13 and older may reserve a court for one hour, on the hour. One reservation per day per Pass Holder. Those playing doubles or triples are not permitted to schedule back to back hours. They may continue play if no one has signed up for the court after the reserved time is completed.

• Advance reservations can be made by Annual and Monthly Pass Holders. Those paying the daily rate may reserve a court on the same day only. Reservations are printed at 6:00am each day. Reservations made after that time will not be honored.

• Reservations have a 10 minute grace period; after which, a court is given to the first group waiting. The correct time is determined by the front desk computer. A sign up sheet will be available at the front desk for those wishing to use a court if the reservation does not show up. The decision is final once staff have released a court to a patron on the waiting list.

• Racquets may be checked out for $1.00 at the front desk. Eye wear and racquetballs can be purchased at the front desk.

• Good sportsmanship is to be displayed at all times.

• Water bottles only are permitted on the courts
