Vista Recreation Center is to:
Provide all citizens with opportunities to engage in activities that contribute to a healthy lifestyle.
Assist citizens in reaching personal goals by offering state-of-the-art equipment and playing surfaces, diverse programs, special events and classes which are implemented by courteous and professional staff.

If you are visiting the
Center for the first time, facility tours
will begin in the lobby every half hour.
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the time of
the tour. Tours will begin one hour after
opening and end one hour before closing time.

The Rio Vista
Recreation Center was designed to be a
versatile, family friendly facility. Its
numerous amenities and programs are intended
to engage residents and promote healthy
lifestyles.
Home to a number of firsts in our city; the
first public gymnasium, the first indoor
racquetball courts, the first climbing wall
and so much more.
The Rio Vista Recreation Center is unique. Great care was taken in the
design process to create a facility which
would complement one of the West Valley's
busiest parks. Its beauty is evident both
inside and out. With commanding views of the
lake and surrounding park, combined with
natural interior finishes, the Rio Vista
Recreation Center will be a point of pride
for generations of Peoria residents.
