US 60-Grand Avenue Improvement Project Continues
Drivers Should Expect Restrictions

Crews will continue to make improvements to US 60
(Grand Avenue) focusing on irrigation and fence work as well as constructing a
new right turn lane on 71st Avenue. Drivers should expect the following
restrictions:
Eastbound US 60 (Grand Avenue) will be narrowed to two lanes at 75th Avenue
from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 29) and Thursday (Aug. 30) for irrigation
work.
Eastbound US 60 (Grand Avenue) will be narrowed to two lanes at 71st Avenue
from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday (Aug. 31) for irrigation work.
Westbound US 60 (Grand Avenue) will be narrowed to two lanes between Cotton
Crossing and 85th Avenue daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 31 for
fence construction.
Westbound US 60 (Grand Avenue) will be narrowed to two lanes at 71st Avenue
through early-September to construct a new right turn lane at 71st Avenue.
The $4.5 million improvement project is scheduled for completion by the end of
the year. It includes new pavement, landscaping, lighting and sidewalk
improvements between 71st Avenue and Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway). For more
