Stay Cautious When Following Street Stripers

Twice a year, the city of Peoria paints the lines in the roadway. The slow-moving equipment is typically followed by another city truck displaying a CAUTION, WET PAINT sign. Drivers are asked to slow down and wait for the trucks to move through. Passing may be hazardous as the striping truck is wide, making it difficult to see ahead to pass safely.
