Small Business Seminars Continue into 2012

The city of Peoria is sponsoring a free small-business resource seminar from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15 in the Development and Community Services Building, Point of View Room, 9875 N 85th Avenue. The Small Business Administration (SBA) will teach attendees: about SBA’s lending role and how to estimate loan costs; how to prepare a SBA loan application; credit requirements for loan approval; find sources to capital to start or grow your business; loan interest rates, terms, amounts, and collateral requirements and where to get the forms; how to approach a lender to improve your chances for approval by knowing what they are looking for; and find banks that are interested in your loan needs.
