Peoria set to launch Spring Training with concert
National recording artist, Candlebox, will headline the P83 Party in the city of Peoria

PEORIA, Ariz. (January 17, 2012) National recording artist, Candlebox, will
headline the P83 Party in the city of Peoria on Saturday, March 3 following the
Seattle Mariners/Oakland Athletics Spring Training game at the Peoria Sports
Complex. The P83 Party is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the beer garden opening at
3 p.m.
The city of Peoria is blocking off 83rd Avenue between Paradise Lane and
Mariners Way at the Peoria Sports Complex for the event. "P83" is a new term
being used by the city of Peoria's Economic Development Services department to
highlight the entertainment district along 83rd Avenue south of Bell Road and
along Bell Road between 75th Avenue and 83rd Avenue in Peoria.
The P83 Party is an event put on by the city to highlight businesses in the
entertainment district. Tickets are needed to enter the concert and adult
beverage areas. Prices are $10 for general admission tickets, and $25 for VIP
tickets which allow purchasers to sit close to the main stage. Children 12 and
under are free. Attendees to the Seattle Mariners vs. Oakland Athletics Spring
Training game get into the concert for free with a ticket stub from the game.

Candlebox is a rock-genre national recording artist from Seattle, Washington.
The band had several Billboard chart songs in the 1990's. Several members left
the group in 1999 and reunited in 2006. Candlebox has toured the world since
getting back together and will release their seventh album on March 13. For more
