Series of Classes Aim to Safeguard Kids
Rio Vista Offers One Day Workshops In February

The Rio Vista Recreation Center, 8866 W. Thunderbird Road, will host several one-day classes in February to teach kids how to stay safe: Cybersafe teaches kids ages eight to 11 to recognize dangers or unsafe situations when using the internet; At Home Alone + First Aid helps prepare kids ages 10 to 14 to be home alone and how to respond to emergencies, phone calls, visitors, minor injuries, and staying constructively occupied; and the Family Communication Skills Workshop teaches adults how to handle stress, resolve conflict, and improve communication in daily life.
