Neighborhood Improvement Program Winds Down for 2012

Peoria's Neighborhood Pride Program volunteers will work on the last of the homes in the Las Palmaritas community, near Butler Drive and 85th Avenue, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 21, Feb. 11, and March 10. Volunteer groups from city's Information Technology (IT) Department, Salt River Project (SRP), and several churches will perform several improvements to the homes, including painting, gravel and landscaping, and removal of debris.
