Be Aware of No Burn Days When Lighting Fireplace, Pits
Practice can potentially create pollution challenges

As temperatures cool, residents will start using their fireplaces and potentially create some pollution challenges. On most days, it's "okay" to light a wood-burning fireplace or fire pit. However, there are days when air pollution is forecast to be in the moderate to unhealthy range - that is when Maricopa County will issue a No Burn Day.
