Halloween Monster Bash and Balloon Illumination - Oct.29

The city of Peoria invites the community out to enjoy their 26th Annual Halloween Bash and Balloon Illumination, presented by Park West, on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be make-n-take crafts, inflatable activities, carnival games, fright zone, slime making, laser tag, a haunted house and much more. The Parade of Costumes begins at 5:30 p.m. where every child will have the opportunity to show off their costume and win prizes. Make sure to bring your candy bags and fill them with treats and trinkets throughout the event, as well as from lighted hot air balloons, sponsored by Alliance Urgent Care.

Gates open at 5 p.m. at Peoria Sports Complex, located at 16101 N. 83rd Ave just south of Bell Road. Parking and admission are free with a donation of canned food to benefit St. Mary’s/Westside Food Bank Alliance. Food and beverage will be available for purchase including a special $5 kids’ meal (hot dog, small soda and chips) for those 12 and under.
