City Welcomes Entries for Student Constitution Contest
Entries Must be Submitted to Homeroom Teachers by Friday, Sept. 23

Peoria is looking for elementary-, middle- and high-school students to Celebrate the Constitution. Depending upon age, students can enter an essay or a poster in the city’s eleventh-annual contest, which offers prizes in four age groups – as well as one $1,500 college scholarship as grand prize. Contestants from Peoria Unified and Deer Valley Unified schools in Peoria must submit entries to their homeroom teachers by Friday, Sept. 23.
