Lake Pleasant Parkway to Get New Surface

Starting Sept. 14, city workers will begin placing a micro surfacing material on Lake Pleasant Parkway from 95th Avenue to Westwing Parkway. Micro surfacing is a mixture of aggregate, asphalt, emulsion and polymers that will add a new, attractive, and skid-resistant finish to the existing roadway, extending pavement life. Traffic is permitted on the roadway within one hour. Construction hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday; some weekend work may be necessary.
