June Brings Art Classes to Rio Vista

Aspiring artists can
don their berets and head over to Rio Vista Recreation Center this summer for
any of several classes in the visual arts. Among the offerings:

“Faux Painting Made
Easy: Metallics, Tuscan and Classic” – Thursday, June 2, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.;
ages 16 and older; $27 for Peoria residents, $34 for non-residents.

“Right Brain Drawing
– Anyone Can Draw” – Thursdays, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., June 2 through June 23;
ages 16 and older; $49 for Peoria residents, $56 for non-residents.

“One-Stroke Painting:
Floral Silhouettes” – Monday, June 6, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; ages 15 and older;
$23 for Peoria residents, $30 for non-residents.

“Illustration
Creation” – Monday, June 6, through Thursday, June 9, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
daily; ages 5-7; $58 for Peoria residents, $65 for non-residents.

“Art Around the
World” – Monday, June 6, through Thursday, June 9, 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
daily; ages 8-12; $58 for Peoria residents, $65 for non-residents.
