Loop 303 Segment to Open in Mid-May

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has announced that it will open a 14-mile stretch of Loop 303 between Interstate 17 in north Phoenix and Happy Valley Parkway in Peoria by mid-May. ADOT, the Maricopa Association of Governments and the city of Peoria have scheduled an event for people to get a closer look at part of the new freeway. It will be Saturday, May 7, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., northeast of Happy Valley Parkway. Gov. Jan Brewer and other dignitaries are expected to attend.
