City to Hold Meeting on Re-Routing Gravel Trucks

Peoria officials will hold a public meeting on a proposed Agua Fria truck bypass from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 4, at Sunrise Mountain Library. The city is planning to construct a “truck road reliever” along the Agua Fria River between the intersections of Rose Garden Lane/112th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road/107th Avenue. The roadway will consist of a single travel lane and shoulder in each direction. There will be a traffic signal at Pinnacle Peak Road and 107th Avenue. Those attending the meeting can review the proposed improvements and provide comments. City officials will be available to answer questions, but there will be no formal presentation. Sunrise Mountain Library is located just off Lake Pleasant Parkway at 21109 N. 98th Ave.
