Hershey’s Games Introduce Kids to Track & Field

The local Hershey’s Track & Field Games will be Friday, April 15, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Centennial High School, 14388 N. 79th Ave. This free event is an opportunity to introduce youths ages 7 to 14 to track-and-field competition. Athletes compete in running, jumping and throwing events based upon age. Neither special shoes nor equipment is required. Winners at the local meet advance to the state finals in May with a chance to earn an all-expenses-paid trip to Hershey, Pa., in August to compete in the North American finals.
