March Special-Interest Classes Include Child Care, Sports

Peoria Recreation offers a variety of special-interest classes. Among those starting in March are:

  • Child Care & Babysitting Safety Workshop (for ages 10-16) – Saturday, March 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; $43 for Peoria residents, $50 for non-residents; registration deadline is Wednesday, March 9.

  • Golf for Beginners – Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., March 12 through April 16; $90 for Peoria residents, $98 for non-residents; registration deadline is Wednesday, March 9.

  • Beginners Edge Slam Dunkers Basketball (for ages 2-5) – Saturday mornings (time varies by age); March 19 through April 30 (excluding April 9); $65 for Peoria residents, $72 for non- residents; registration deadline is Monday, March 14.

  • Beginners Edge Soccer Tots (for ages 2-5) – Saturday mornings (time varies by age); March 19 through April 23; $65 for Peoria residents, $72 for non- residents; registration deadline is Monday, March 14.
