Peoria Schedules Water-Conservation, Landscaping Classes

The city is offering a series of free water-conservation and landscaping classes this spring. Among the offerings are:

Landscaping in the Arizona Desert, Tuesday, March 1, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Wednesday, March 2, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Landscape Watering 101, Thursday, March 3, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Vegetable Gardening through the Seasons, Thursday, March 10, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Low-Desert Herb Gardening, Thursday, March 24, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (City Hall Pine Room)

Landscaping Container Gardening, Thursday, March 31, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Vines and Groundcovers
for Desert Landscapes, Thursday, April 7, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Xeriscape: Desert Fusion Garden Lecture and Walking Tour, Saturday, April 9, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (City Hall Pine Room)
