Learn CCC, the 'New CPR' That Doesn't Use Mouth-to-Mouth
2/15/2011
Rio Vista Recreation Center will offer training in the “new CPR” – Continuous Chest Compression, or CCC – on Saturday, Feb. 26, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Instructors from the Community Services, Fire or Police departments will teach how to respond to a cardiac emergency, perform chest compressions and use an Automatic External Defibrillator, or AED. Unlike CPR, CCC
requires no mouth-to-mouth contact. The class, for people ages 12 and older, is
free for Peoria residents and $7 for non-residents. For more information or to
register, call 623-773-7137.
