New Rio Vista Program Rewards Efforts on Climbing Wall

Rio Vista Recreation Center and Credit Union West are teaming up to offer a new program encouraging those ages 5 and older to climb for good health. “Win at the Wall” will award prizes throughout the year. The more climbs, the greater chance of winning one of 10 prizes awarded every month. The center’s climbing wall is 25 feet tall and has six different routes with varying degrees of difficulty. Climbing is a great way to burn calories and improve flexibility and muscle tone. The wall is open seven days a week (hours vary) and is free with a Rio Vista pass. Day passes start at just $3 a day or $15 a month for Peoria youth.
