Effective Tuesday, June 30, 2009 the City of Peoria no longer offers Passport Services. For information and questions, please contact the U.S. Department of State at 1-877-487-2778 or visit their Web site at www.travel.state.gov
The City Clerk’s Office will be changing Passport Services hours to Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., effective May 4. Any citizen seeking a U.S. passport may visit the office, located in Peoria City Hall, 8401 W. Monroe St., Room 150, during those hours to apply and have his or her picture taken. The City Clerk’s Office will remain available for all other services Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information on passports or to download an application, visit
