The City of Peoria invites the community out to enjoy the annual Old Town Holiday Festival. Take a stroll through Old Town Peoria and enjoy all the holiday activities. Presented by Sears Vacations, the event will feature live entertainment, a visit from Santa, 20 tons of snow!, crafters market, kid zone, a choral contest and live Nativity. The festival will take place south of Peoria and Grand avenues. Parking and admission are free. Some activities have a nominal fee. Food and beverage concessions will be available for purchase.

Annual Gingerbread House Competition
Mini Houses & Large Houses
Divisions: Groups, Individuals, and Adaptive (All-Ages)
Enter November 30 - December 1, between 8 a.m. - 9 p.m., at the Peoria Community Center 8335 W. Jefferson St.
Winners will be chosen based on the following criteria: complied with rules, imagination, creativity, degree of difficulty and overall appearance. Prizes will be awarded to first through third places in each category for each division. There will be a $100 grand prize awarded for the Best Overall Large House and $50 for Best Overall Mini House. The Gingerbread Houses will be on display at the Peoria City Hall through the month of December.
