Code Amending Ordinances
A code amending ordinance is an ordinance that changes the intent or a specific area of the City of Peoria City Code. These ordinances are approved by Council with an effective date contained therein. The code amending ordinances listed below are being made available in order to provide an up-to-date record of all City Code amendments approved by Council, but not yet administratively incorporated (codified) into the official City Code. These ordinances will serve as record until such time as they are codified into the official City Code (1977 & 1992 Editions) by the City Attorney’s Office. 2012 Code Amending Ordinances
Amending Chapter 5 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) by adopting the 2012 International Building Code, 2012 International Residential Code, 2012 International Mechanical Code, 2012 International Plumbing Code, 2012 International Fuel Gas Code, 2012 International Property Maintenance Code, 2012 International Energy Conservation Code and the 2011 National Electrical Code.
Amending Chapter 2, Section 2-207 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) pertaining to Community Services Department Fees for Fiscal Year 2013.
Amending Chapter 16 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) pertaining to Special Events.
Amending Chapter 14 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) pertaining to Parking; recreational vehicles; utility trailers.
Amending Chapter 13 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) by enacting Section 13-104 pertaining to the Home Detention Alternative Program.
Amending Chapter 14 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) by amending Section 14-80 pertaining to local speed limits.
