The Landscape customer classification applies to any open area unoccupied except for landscaping, which shall consist of groundcover and/or live planted material served with an irrigation system.  Examples include, but are not limited to, landscaped areas, strip areas, right-of-ways, medians, common areas, fountains, water features, plazas, patios, decorative courtyards, sports fields, lawns, turf, swimming pools, golf courses, and water parks.  These areas must not have drainage into the sewer system.  If the same meter provides water to a landscaped area, swimming pool, or water feature and a bathroom, club house, or other non-residential building, it would not be classified as a landscape customer.  Instead, it would be classified as a commercial customer.
