Program: The funding for this work was made possible through the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) of Arizona and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. These projects will help put people back to work and potentially create new jobs.
Project Scope: Capital Improvement Project UT00293 (Section B) will repair approximately 5,200 feet of 24-inch sewer line and seventeen (17) manholes on Northern Avenue between 83rd and 91st Avenues. The repairs will consist of installing a cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) liner and will require installing bypass pumps to divert all of the sewer flows in the line while the repairs are being made.
