Program: The funding for this work was made possible through the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority (WIFA) of Arizona and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. These projects will help put people back to work and potentially create new jobs.
Project Scope: Construct 3 miles of 24" water transmission line. This project is being constructed along with storm drain improvements along 91st Avenue and Beardsley Road. The 24" waterline will be installed in 91st Avenue between Union Hills Drive and Beardsley Road and in Beardsley Road between 87th Avenue and Lake Pleasant Road. (Learn more about that project.)
