Project Description
 The City of Peoria has an on-going Annual Traffic Signal Project that includes funding for the identification, evaluation, design and construction of traffic control at various intersections throughout the City to promote safety and efficiency by providing for the orderly movement of traffic.  Traffic control that may be addressed through this program includes; signs, pavement markings, new traffic signals and modifications of existing traffic signals.

Traffic control may also be constructed by the City of Peoria or by developers in conjunction with residential, commercial and industrial projects.  It may also be constructed in partnership with adjacent cities, Maricopa Department of Transportation (MCDOT) or Arizona Department of transportation (ADOT).
