Beardsley Road; 99th Avenue to Lake
Pleasant Road
Project Description
This project will improve
the south half of Beardsley Road from Lake Pleasant Road to 99th
Avenue. The completed segment of roadway will include two
lanes in each direction, a two-way left turn lane and bike
lanes. The project will also include addition of street
lights, landscaping, sidewalk pavement reconstruction and storm drain
improvements. The intersection
will be widened to accommodate truck movements as this is a
designated a truck route.

Status
Currently the
City of Peoria has combined with Kimley-Horn as the Engineering Consulting Firm to prepare the design documents
needed to move forward with construction. It is
anticipated that the design will be completed in the Winter 2009
with construction beginning in the Spring 2010 and ending in the
Fall 2010.
