91st Avenue and Deer Valley Road Traffic Signals
and Intersection Improvements
Project Description
Intersection improvements at 91st Avenue and Deer Valley Road
including design and construction of new traffic signals, and widening
each approach leg to the intersection to include a dedicated left
turn lane as well as one thru lane in each direction. The
existing earthen berm located along the north side of Deer Valley
Road would be reconstructed once pavement widening is completed.

Status
The design documents
are 95% complete. Final design should be complete by the
end of April, 2007. Anticipated start of construction
is June, 2007 following completion of the
Deer Valley Road
Sewer - Lake Pleasant Parkway to 91st Avenue project currently
under construction. Anticipated construction completion
for the intersection improvements is August 2007.
