Widening; Williams Road to Calle Lejos Road
Project
Description
The City of Peoria (City) is working to complete the street
widening improvements on 83rd Avenue between Williams Road and Calle
Lejos Road. The City will be widening the current
three-lane configuration to a five-lane configuration plus bike
lanes. In
addition, improvements to the 83rd Avenue and & Pinnacle Peak
Road Intersection will happen in conjunction with the widening to
included dual lefts for north bound and south bound traffic.

Project
Status
The project design is 90% complete, and is scheduled
for construction in Winter 2010. Coordination with the
utility companies has commenced; actual utility relocation
is scheduled to take place between Summer 2009 to Winter 2009/2010.
