WIDENING; WILLIAMS ROAD TO CALLE LEJOS ROAD (EN00162)
Project
Description
The City of Peoria (City) is working to complete the street
widening improvements on 83rd Avenue between Williams Road and Calle
Lejos Road. The City will be widening the current
three-lane configuration to a five-lane configuration plus bike
lanes. In
addition, the 83rd Avenue and & Pinnacle Peak
Road Intersections will be widened to
include dual left-turn lanes for northbound and southbound traffic.

Project
Status
The project design is complete. The
construction contract is was presented to Council on February
16, 2010, and construction is scheduled
to begin in March 2010. Coordination with the
utility companies has commenced; actual utility relocation
is scheduled to take place between Summer 2009 to Winter 2009/2010.
