CONVENE: A meeting of the Veterans Memorial Board of the City of Peoria, Arizona was 
convened at 8401 West Monroe Street in open and public session in Ironwood Conference 
Room at 5:10 p.m.

ROLL CALL:

MINUTES: Discussion and possible action to approve the regular meeting minutes of 
May 8, 2007. Minutes Approved 


UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

1. Discussion and possible action to establish guidelines for sponsorship.  Approved to 
pass guidelines and form with amended changes.


NEW BUSINESS:

1. Discuss the budget for the upcoming Veteran Memorial ceremonies.  Approved to postpone 
agenda item until next meeting.

2. Discussion and possible action to establish special plaque details and events listing.  
Approved the first 49 battles or events with approved amended changes for the Veterans 
Memorial Wall plans.  Approve to table the discussion on the other suggested items until 
the July 10th meeting.

REPORT FROM STAFF:

1. Kirk Haines to report on details regarding Rio Vista Recreation Center and the Veterans 
Memorial. No action was taken
