CONVENE: A meeting of the Veterans Memorial Board of the City of Peoria, Arizona 
was convened at 8351 W. Cinnabar Avenue in open and public session in the Cinnabar 
South Conference Room at 5:05 p.m.

ROLL CALL: 

MINUTES: Discussion and possible action to approve the regular meeting minutes 
of June 26, 2007. Minutes approved.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

1.	Discuss the budget for the informal September 11th Veteran Memorial ceremony.  
Approved motion to form subcommittee to use money in certain areas.

2.	Discuss and possible action to complete special plaque details and events 
listing. Approved a motion to add two additional events and defer all others until 
another time.

NEW BUSINESS:

1.	Discuss and possible action to establish a current events board. Approved 
motion to ask Council for budget to create current events board.

2.	Discuss and possible action to establish special plaque detail and events 
listing descriptions. Approved to table until August meeting.

3.	Discuss and possible action to approve sponsors for the Veteran Memorial 
Wall panels. Approved sponsors.

REPORT FROM STAFF:

1.	Kirk Haines to report on details regarding construction details of Rio Vista 
Recreation Center and the Veterans Memorial. No action taken.

REPORT FROM DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR: None.

REPORT FROM BOARD: Absence verbiage change.  Possible working Saturday meeting.
