CONVENE: A meeting of the Veterans Memorial Board of the City of Peoria, Arizona 
was convened at 8351 West Cinnabar Avenue in open and public session in Cinnabar 
North Conference Room at 5:04 p.m.

ROLL CALL:

MINUTES: Discussion and possible action to approve the regular meeting minutes 
of April 10, 2007. Minutes Approved


UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

1. Discussion and possible action to define and form specific sub committees groups. 
No action was taken
 
2. Discussion and possible action to establish guidelines for sponsorship.  No action 
was taken


NEW BUSINESS:

1. Discussion and possible action to establish office term limits.  Approved 
to have one year terms for Chair and Vice Chair by calendar year (January through 
December) with the board able to extend the term

2. Discussion and possible action to set the date of the Veteran Memorial 
Wall ribbon cutting ceremony.  Approved to have a tentative date of November 10, 2007 
for the formal ribbon cutting ceremony pending any conflicts of any other major events

Approved to host and informal revealing September 11, 2007 in the evening with light 
refreshments


REPORT FROM STAFF:

1. Kirk Haines to report on the pricing of the veteran memorial plaque details and 
forms.  Kirk Haines to report on details regarding Rio Vista Recreation Center Conference 
Room.  No action was taken
