A Regular Meeting of the Council Not-for-Profit Sub-Committee for the City of 
Peoria, Arizona, was convened via teleconference by Chairman Barrett in open and 
public session at 8401 West Monroe, Peoria, Arizona, August 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.

Members Present:  Chair Bob Barrett; Member Ron Ames

Members Absent:  Members Vicki Hunt, Ken Compton

Others Present:  James Mason (Assistant to the City Manager)
 
Audience:  None

Comments from the floor on non-agenda items:  There were no comments from the 
floor on non-agenda items.

Minutes:  The minutes from the February 5, 2007 and February 6, 2007 were not 
approved.  The Mayor attended the meeting via teleconference and was unable to 
review and sign the minutes


REGULAR AGENDA

NEW BUSINESS: 
Staff Presentation –   Presentation from staff and discussion on the financial 
need currently experienced by Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) The 
discussion is pursuant to direction from City Council to have the committee 
review the request from Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS) for additional 
City support for their overflow shelter for FY 07/08, and provide a 
recommendation to Council.
Committee Action:  The committee voted in favor of recommending that the City 
Council approve the additional funding support for CASS.
